"L.A. police officer Sean Thompson also happens to be a karate master: a lehtal combination of skills which is invaluable to the Department. Moreover, his girlfriend Billie, also a police officer, is highly skilled in martial arts. Together they make a formidable, unstoppable team.

Coincidentally, big-time crook Dalton Rhodes is also a martial arts Grand Master; his grisly hobby, killing for pleasure, usually by a singel lethal blow known as the Dim Mok. Sean and Billie recognise Dim Mok injuries when called to investigate a series of gangland murders. But their inquiries get them nowhere.

Only when Sean's younger brother, a petty criminal and car thief, is found murdered in the same manner does the trail lead to Rhodes. While Billie engages Rhodes' sidekick in a violent showdown, Sean manages to administer supreme justice, killing Rhodes by his own favourite method - the Dim Mok."
